Results from our forumRe: there is a theory, that each animal has approx. the same number of heart beats, so those, who have faster hearts, die faster :) this is very intriguing. So are are you telling me that people who exercise more die faster....since they have more exercise....

Why do women live longer than men?I think it’s because women get heart conditions later in life and have stronger hearts; there are many theories on that. Also, women have stronger immune systems. Men do have physically more demanding jobs usually - but even the men who don't have such jobs still ...

There are now foreseeable i pods running on nano-generators powered by cardiac electric activity and not requiring batteries!!
