Harringtonines

(Science: chemical) substances isolated from the seeds of cephalotaxus harringtonia, var. Drupacea. They are esters of the alkaloid cephalotaxine and may be effective as antineoplastic agent.

Pharmacological action: antineoplastic agent, phytogenic.
