Hamate bone

The bone on the medial (ulnar) side of the distal row of the carpus; it articulates with the fourth and fifth metacarpal, triquetral, lunate, and capitate.

Synonym: os hamatum, hamatum, hooked bone, unciform bone, unciforme, uncinatum.
