Haemolysins

substances, usually of biological origin, that destroy blood cells; they may be antibodies or other immunologic factors, toxins, enzymes, etc.; haemotoxins are toxic to blood in general, including the clotting mechanism; haematotoxins may refer to the haematopoietic system.
