Gumboro disease

Gumboro disease --> infectious bursal disease

a highly contagious acute disease of chickens caused by the infectious bursal disease virus and characterised by whitish diarrhoea, dehydration, prostration, and destruction of the bursa of Fabricius, compromising the birds immune system.

Synonym: gumboro disease.
