Gonadal mosaicism

A form of mosaicism affecting the gametes, and not the somatic cells, of an individual.


Supplement

The rare condition wherein some cells of the body of a patient have XX chromosomes while other cells have XY chromosomes is an example of gonadal mosaicism.
