They are tailless and without cheek pouches, and have very long arms, adapted for climbing. The white-handed gibbon (hylobates lar), the crowned (H. Pilatus), the wou-wou or singing gibbon (H. Agilis), the siamang, and the hoolock. Are the most common species. ![]()
