Results from our forumunknown bacteria... 37 C I have + results for acid and gas with Glucose, Sucrose, Lactose, and maltose. I have a + for citrate utilization and catalase. Negative on gelatin hydrolysis, cysteine digestion, tryptophan digestion, and urea. I think I may have it narrowed down but I am hitting some walls. Any ideas? ...

ELISA Test... then have to block as much of any remaining potential non-specific sites by washing, then adding an excess of some general protein like albumin or gelatin, and then washing again.

Cell passage... right now im using a substrate...to study how well EC adhere to the substrate...I would like to find out more about ur work....ur using 1% of gelatin, and do u mean u add in FBS, heparin, ECGS, and PS? Instead of buying a complete medium? Thanks for ur help!
