Gap 2 phase



The (final) stage of interphase wherein the eukaryotic somatic cell resumes growth following DNA synthesis prior to cell division


In cell cycle, Gap 2 phase is the period after Synthesis phase and before cell division, thus, it is also referred to as the pre-mitotic phase.
