Friction rub



The sound heard using a stethoscope during auscultation, and produced by the rubbing together of opposed inflamed surfaces.


Friction rub may be a pleural rub or a pericardial rub.

... and hands should be reasonably sterilized; the soap helps with the friction movenent. unless its anti microbial, then of course it kills germs ... soap is it is creating super resistent germs, so always, always, scrub no matter the soap. but remember to use your elbows to maneuver around ...
