Hey guys! Would anyone know, in each of the Lane 2's, why there is a very large bright fragment that doesn't really confine to the shape of a rectangle? Just a general description would be helpful. Thank you!

I have been reading some literature that seems to consider RNA Primers as part of Okazaki fragments, but this should not be so because Okazaki Fragments by definition are just the DNA portions synthesized on the lagging strand. Another question regarding MSI. When PCR amplifying microsatellite markers for subsequent fragment analysis by microcapillary elfo - is it important to use an ultra-high fidelity polymerase, or is it not important?
