Plants - genetics

... a wide range of heights; the majority of F2 are like P1 and F1, but approximately 4 of 1000 are only 12 cm tall and 4 of 1000 are 36 cm tall. What fraction of the F2 plants will be 27 cm in height? [Assume that for the genes involved in determining plant height, each allele contributes the same ...

What is responsible for converting H2CO3 to HCO3- and H+ ...

... is in the water in 3 forms: as CO2 (H2CO3), HCO3, and CO3. Under pH 8 nearly all carbon should be in the form of HCO3 (97%), and just a small fraction in the form of H2CO3 (3%). The more hardship a population is under, in terms of fraction of lives lost per generation (Tibet is, of course, a very harsh environment), the more drastic the change can be. Small differences in environment ...

I'm writing a fictional short story. I have some questions.

... idea of the story is this-- What would happen if humanity died out for two hundred years, leaving nature unimpeded for that time, and then a small fraction of humanity was then resurrected to live in this new world? I'm thinking that there would be a ton of natural overgrowth, with moss clinging ...
