(Science: chemical) An anthranilic acid derivative with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. It is used in musculoskeletal and joint disorders and administered by mouth and topically.

Pharmacological action: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, topical anti-inflammatory agents.
