(Science: radiology) no nerve roots seen (in lumbar spine; roots not seen in T-spine) differential diagnosis: arachnoiditis, Pantopaque, infection, haemorrhage, surgery / RT, subdural injection, contrast flows, unlike epidural injection, nerve roots seen as they exit, but not between disc levels
