Results from our forumRe: Question on Predators/ NS... was the mechanism for evolution-right? I don't see how that's ever going to happen. The scenario you gave is very good, and natural selection is evident. But you have to have new information in the genome, and NS is taking away from the gene pool through extinction. Am I missing something here?

Re: Natural selection wrong due to transmission of harmful genes... disorders for obvious reasons. Here's some food for thought. Even with 6000 genetic disorders, the stability of the genome in our created kind is evident. We hear often of the negative part of NS, that is the "struggle for survival." There is also a positive side -- sexual competition ...
