It contained motile (peritrichous) and nonmotile, gram-negative and gram-positive, and sporeforming and nonsporeforming species. The order contained 13 families: Achromobacteriaceae, Azotobacteriaceae, Bacillaceae, bacteroidaceae, Brevibacteriaceae, brucellaceae, Corynebacteriaceae, enterobacteriaceae, Lactobacillaceae, Micrococcaceae, Neisseriaceae, Propionibacteriaceae, and Rhizobacteriaceae. ![]()
