Re: Stomach bloating and weight gainJust checking in. Wow, the blog keeps going. Found out my 7 year-old has EE (Eosinophilic Esophigitis.) Eosinophils are white blood cells that help ward off parasites, etc. Eosinophils are not typically present in the Esophagus, and EE is a pretty rare but "on-the-rise" ...

My daughter's endoscopy revealed two ulcers (one in her lower esophagus and one in the upper stomach) as well as eosinophilic esophagitis.
