Definition

noun, plural: endpoints

(1) A point or mark of termination or completion.

(2) (chemistry) Equivalence point: the conclusion of a chemical reaction, especially during a titration in which no more titrant should be added (especially indicated by a color change or appearance of a precipitate).

(3) (immunology) The point at which an antibody or antiserum solution is at the most dilute and can still detectably reacting with the antigen.

(4) Clinical endpoint: an observed or measured outcome in a clinical trial to indicate or reflect the effect of the treatment being tested.
