A question about what living organisms are made up of.

So, the cells are made up of carbon-based molecules. What other elements than carbon do the organic molecules that make up a cell consist of ? Thanks a lot.

... molecules and other molecules, I am wondering what is meant by carbon-based molecules? Is it meant that it consists of more carbon than other elements? What other molecules are a living organism made up of? Thanks
