Microbiology, Biological Sciences, (x)... - molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry etc are all good topics, if your college offers them as majors. introns and exons... i'm quite sure. may I add that this module has turned me off bio forever. I cannot imagine what possessed the professors to offer it as a General Elective even to people without a background in A levels biology. bloody stupid if you ask me or my 5 other friends struggling with the same module.
