Re: Kidneys and collecting tubule... I had the same question. According to what I know collecting tubule leads to the collecting duct. And the collecting tubule is connected to the Distal convoluted tubule on the other end. That's how it is.

Kidneys and collecting tubule... :) I am just wondering about the collecting tubule, is it the same as collecting duct or is it somehow part of it, or could that relate to distal convoluted tubule? I would very much appreciate if anyone knows the answer :) Thanks N
