Results from our forumRe: A Calculus-Based Viewpoint for Negative Feedback... fits a mathematical model that, unfortunately, does not reveal what is going on .. ADH causes aquaporin 2 proteins to be inserted into the distal nephron (DCT) .. these aquaporins selectively allow water to be resorbed into the body to increase water levels and, with it, blood pressure. ...

Active Transportation in the human body... attach to receptors on the macrophages, so you've got the third. I'm not sure about pinocytosis, but I would suspect that it happens in the distal convoluted tubules of the kidneys, where materials the body needs to discard (but wouldn't go through the filter) are added to urine.
