Tests for introgression

If I see genealogical discordance between a mtDNA and nDNA dataset when looking at the phylogenetic trees, two things that could be happening are introgression, or incomplete lineage sorting. How would I go about testing this?

... species (16S rRNA) trees). Gene and species trees will not be congruent if the gene has been horizontally acquires in most cases. Phylogenetic discordance can help to identify HGT genes.
