mmmh.. why do you say that monocots are superior to dicots? it just a name to explain the number of cotiledons on the seed :S. i know that monocots are the angiosperms and dicots are the magnoliopsidaes.

They are? If we're talking about evolutionary precedence, they evolved before dicots... However dicots are more dominant, as far as I know.
