(Science: chemical) a muscarinic antagonist that has been used to treat neuroleptic-induced parkinsonism. Benzetimide is the (-)-enantimorph of dexetimide.

Pharmacological action: antiparkinson agents, muscarinic antagonists, parasympatholytics.
