Depressor reflex

Depressor reflex --> cardiac depressor reflex

a fall in blood pressure due to peripheral vasodilation and cardiac inhibition by stimulations of terminations of a cardiac depressor nerve in the aortic arch and base of the heart.

Synonym: aortic reflex, depressor reflex.
