Depressive disorder

An affective disorder manifested by either a dysphoric mood or loss of interest or pleasure in usual activities. The mood disturbance is prominent and relatively persistent.

Are alchohol can treat Panic disorder?

I've never heard of alcohol being used to treat any panic disorders, but then I have a limited knowledge of the subject. Lithium (or more ... compound of it) is often used to treat psychological disorders e.g. manic-depressive cycles. Could be wrong though.
