1. Dissolving; liquefying by contact with the air; capable of attracting moisture from the atmosphere and becoming liquid; as, deliquescent salts.

2. (Science: botany) branching so that the stem is lost in branches, as in most deciduous trees.

Origin: L. Deliquescens, -entis, p. Pr. Of deliquescere: cf. F. Deliquescent.

why let other people change things on here when they might not be sure they are right? Why give info when others use it and it may even be wrong? so, thanks wikipedia nad also this site for giving us that..we'll blame you if we get thigns wrong on our school projects...
