Is possible for natural selection to change the code?

i have read that the overall of protein charge should be neutralized. And proteins have more Ala, and less His, Cys, Pro, Ser and Leu than would be expected from codon multiplicities alone. can i say that natural selection can change the code?

Denaturation and refolding of an enzyme

Q1: well, you have answered, why is it so stable, but does that relate to its function? Q2: I don't think the Cys-Cys bonds prevent proteolytic degradation (but I may be wrong), but otherwise it seems OK
