1. A painful muscle spasm caused by prolonged tetanic contraction.

2. A localised muscle spasm related to occupational use, qualified according to the occupation of the sufferer; e.g., seamstress's cramp, writers cramp.

... intestine, but I can't really find how specific cellular mechanisms that cause this and other symptoms (nausea, dehydration, vomiting, muscle cramps). Thanks for looking!
