(1) (pathology) Oral dryness often as a result of adverse reactions to some medicines and recreational drugs

(2) (zoology) Water moccasin, and other related pit vipers of the genus Agkistrodon (the name is derived from the white lining of its mouth and fangs the snake exposes as a form of defense)
