Costal tuberosity --> impression for costoclavicular ligament

(Science: anatomy) An irregular pitted area on the inferior surface of the clavicle at its sternal end, giving attachment to the costoclavicular ligament.

Synonym: impressio ligamenti costoclavicularis, costal tuberosity, rhomboid impression, tuberositas costalis.
