(Science: plant biology) The lower part of an awn in grasses, when distinctly different in form from the upper part, a structure (a gynostemium) in orchids which extends above the ovary of a flower and incorporates stigma, style and stamens.

Re: Bear vs Gorilla Stand-Off. Who would win?

Very simply, the gorilla could strangulate the bear or damage it's spinal column by hyper-rotating it's cranium. Intellect is always important during life or death struggles like the one being proposed. Think about it... :)

SELEX

In Systematic evolution of Ligands by Exponential Enrichment a resin column attached with ATP is used for desired ligand development . This ATP give the desire ligand a property for binding tightly with ATP. Should we used any other drug ?
