Coenzyme m-7-merceptoheptanoylthreonine-phosphate-

Coenzyme M-7-merceptoheptanoylthreonine-phosphate-heterodisulfide hydrogenase

(Science: enzyme) From methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum; reduces coenzyme m heterodisulfide of heptanoyl-l-threonine phosphate to yield coenzyme m and 7-mercaptoheptanoyl-l-threonine phosphate; may be a system of 2 enzymes, a hydrogenase and a disulfide reductase

registry number: EC 1.12.99.2

Synonym: heterodisulfide reductase, coenzyme m, coenzyme m heterodisulfide reductase, h2-heterodisulfide oxidoreductase complex, disulfide reductase (com-ss-htp), heterodisulfide reductase (com-ss-htp)

... and oxaloacetate 2) no, succinate is not C4O4, you're forgetting hydrogens  3) succinate doesn't enter the ETC. It just passes electrons to coenzyme Q, but otherwise is involved in TCA cycle, not in ETC

... cytoplasm with no organelles). 2) Pyruvate will enter the tricarboxylic acid cycle, be catabolised by pyruvate dehydrogenase into either Acetyl Coenzyme A or Ox.-Aloacetate. Then, the reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) and Succinate (C4O4) will enter an electron transport chain ...
