Results from our forumAlgae - monophyletic groups?... be monophyletic, as defined by their nuclear DNA? For those which are monophyletic, is the LCA in each phylum hypothesised to be a eukaryote? Are Chlorophyta a phylum within Plantae (cladistically)? If not, what is their relationship with Plantae?
