Growth on metal pot?!... some kind of mold, be sure to clean your pot and dont have any food debri left on it.Soak it in warm water with detergent, and scrub, you can use chlorine also. ;)

I have problem with my cellshypochlorite decomposes to sodium chloride and oxygen, no chlorine! Thus, the CO2 level may be OK, but O2 level will be affected.

I have problem with my cells... to plates after 24 hrs. Only floating on my plate if the Co2 level was not fine, does this cause my cells to float??? if there is remaining of chlorine gas in incubator, could it poison my cells Please any suggestion of similar experience

Re: Sterlization by Bleach, Water Purification Tablets... the depth of your experiment - science fair vs. research - but I do suggest you read the literature on this subject. Of course the presence of chlorine wiil affect growth but it's also important to consider the inoculum you'll use and what protcol for recovery. Some bugs grow well in distiled ...
