Re: Characterization of Staphylococcus at the genus and speciesYou can id S. aureus by coagulase test - it's positive while other Staph are negative. To id other staph you can do various biochem tests but those are not as simple.

Identfying Bacteria From Pictures... least you have to do several cultural, staining and biochemical tests to ensure which genus do these two bacteria belong... have you provide the characterization processes on these two?
