Results from our forumOsteoclasts / Osteoblasts... the absorption and removal of bone. An odontoclast, also called cementoclast, is cytomorphologically the same as an osteoclast and is involved in cementum resorption. Osteoblasts: Cells that arise from fibroblasts and which, as they mature, are associated with the production of bone.
