a genus of solanaceous shrubs that yield capsaicin. Several varieties have sweet or pungent edible fruits that are used as vegetables when fresh and spices when the pods are dried.

genetically engineered fruit

hi everyone, i want to know if genetically engineered chillies or capsicum hav been developed... n is it possible to mutate green chillies into red ones through genetic engineering... thanks..
