Results from our forumRe: Bacterial CalculationHallo, You don`t need a serial dilution calculator ... seriously. If you get 55 colonies at a 10^4 dilution, then you have 5.5*10^5 cfu/mL (in case you used an aliquot of 1 mL). If you count 85 colonies at a 10^5 dilution then it`s 8.5*10^6 cfu/mL, which is already close to the concentration ...

CFU conversionThen I think I should just ignore the cfu and convert Mol to mMol, because it clearly specifies that the concentration is 3.39 mol/cfu. Thanks a lot. :)

CFU conversionThen it's technically per CFU, because each cell theoretically give rise to single colony. On the other hand, the concentration inside cell will be different from that in media.

CFU conversionThe problem is, I want to use the concentration value somewhere else and I want it to be specified in millimoles. Is it okay if I just ignore the cfu and use the value as millimol? Will it remain same? I just want the concentration of ATP inside the bacterial cell.
