The raised area of a bump or bruise results from blood leaking from these injured blood vessels into the tissues as well as from the body's response to the injury. A purplish, flat bruise that occurs when blood leaks out into the top layers of skin is referred to as an ecchymosis.

... done this, and not all paper rustling does this.....it has to be a certain sound.. at times it has been intense to the point where I get goose bumps and the hair on my arms would stick up...It"s a very calming sensation..Like a massage..only internal I have read most of the comments here ...
