(Science: anatomy, muscle) origin, lower two-thirds of anterior surface of humerus; insertion, coronoid process of ulna; action, flexes elbow; nerve supply, musculocutaneous, usually with a minor contribution from the radial.

Synonym: musculus brachialis, brachial muscle.
