Ca3(PO4)2;used as an antacid.

Does anyone know about calcium phosphate and bone?

Is calcium phosphate just a component of hydroxyapatie crystals or does it have another function independent of hydroxyapatite crystals and collagen fibers contributing to the hardness of bone :?: :?
