(Science: zoology) Any species of fly of the genus musca that deposits its eggs or young larvae (called flyblows and maggots) upon meat or other animal products.

Maggot Behaviour

... good sites or could give me any information on maggot behaviour that would be useful for my coursework. Subjects of particular interest are how blowfly larvae respond to light and information on phototaxis and kinesis. Thanks very much! :)
