thaw cellsJust put them on ice. I saw recently recomendation to keep them on freezing block (-20°C) to keep them alive longer, but I haven't tried it.

ETC - purpose of having different dehydrogenases?Not really loss of electrons, but inability to recycle NADH, which would block cellular metabolism.
