Bladder schistosomiasis

Bladder schistosomiasis --> schistosomiasis haematobium

infection with schistosoma haematobium, the eggs of which invade the urinary tract, causing cystitis and haematuria, and possibly an increased likelihood of bladder cancer.

Synonym: bladder schistosomiasis, egyptian haematuria, endemic haematuria, urinary schistosomiasis.
