Benzbromarone

(Science: chemical) 3,5-dibromo-4-hydroxyphenyl-2-ethyl-3-benzofuranyl ketone. Uricosuric that acts by increasing uric acid clearance. It is used in the treatment of gout.

Pharmacological action: uricosuric agents.
