Delayed Implantation

I was recently reading about delayed implantation in bears and in weasels and was curious about how that worked. The egg is fertilized right away, but isn't implanted into the uterine wall until the time is right... but where is it located in between? ...

... of which is more intelligent, the knowledge each have is learned by experience and some prey and predator coevolve such as Ringed Seals and Polar Bears. Also, usually when the predator(s) hunt it seeks out the weakest or slowest: young, old, sick .

Bear vs Gorilla Stand-Off. Who would win?

I think the gorilla could certainly win if it managed to jump on the bears back and hang on while it bit into the spine. It is also at an advantage in being more bipedal than the bear.
