Hemichordates apparently are an evolutionary link between vertabrates and invertabrates. this acorn worm balanoglossus has gill slits but no notochord? Does a stomochord prove that its an evolutionary link?

BalanoglossusI'm wondering where you came up with this question? I just found out Balanoglossus is a deuterostome and I figure it isn't a 'big' phylum, (it isn't mentioned much in zoology handouts that list phylums) the only other phylum I've heard of being deuterostomes ...
