Aryepiglottic muscle

(Science: anatomy) The fibres of the oblique arytenoid muscle that extend from the summit of the arytenoid cartilage to the side of the epiglottis; action, constricts the laryngeal aperture.

Synonym: musculus aryepiglotticus.
