Dictionary » A » Arachnida ArachnidaArachnida (Science: zoology) One of the classes of arthropoda. They have four pairs of legs, no antennae nor wings, a pair of mandibles, and one pair of maxillae or palpi. The head is usually consolidated with the thorax. The respiration is either by trancheae or by pulmonary sacs, or by both. The class includes three principal orders: araneina, or spiders; arthrogastra, including scorpions, etc.; and Acarina, or mites and ticks. ![]()

Re: Have you seen Arachnida with 6 legs?I think it lost its leg by any accident or so one. because arachnida will be an arachnida if it has 8 legs.

Have you seen Arachnida with 6 legs?I've seen that, but I thought that all arachnida has 8 legs... so, is that a new kind?
